Bluesky Integration
Beta integration: connect Bluesky with an app password.
Connect your Bluesky account using an app password so WeKeKe can safely read and respond to DMs. App passwords are scoped and can be revoked at any time.
Prerequisites
- Active Bluesky account
- App password created in Bluesky settings
- WeKeKe account signed in
Generate an App Password

Open Bluesky settings
In Bluesky, go to Settings → App passwords.

Create a new app password
Name it WeKeKe and copy the generated password.

Allow Direct Messages access
Check Allow access to your Direct Messages so WeKeKe can read and reply to DMs.

Store it safely
You’ll use this once when connecting. WeKeKe stores it securely for automation.
Connect in WeKeKe

Open Integrations
Go to Integrations in the sidebar.

Click “Connect Bluesky”
Enter your handle and the app password you created.

Verify connection
We’ll show a green “Connected” state and last sync time.
Tips & Troubleshooting
- If the connection fails, confirm the handle is correct (e.g. name.bsky.social).
- App passwords can be revoked in Bluesky—create a new one and reconnect.
- Disconnecting in WeKeKe removes stored credentials and resets to neutral state.
Security Notes
WeKeKe only requests the minimum access needed to read and reply to messages. You can revoke access at any time from Bluesky’s app password settings.
