Meta OAuth for Instagram Business/Creator DM automation.
WeKeKe connects Instagram through Meta OAuth. Your Instagram profile must be a Business/Creator account and linked to a Facebook Page in Meta Business settings.
Instagram Temporarily Disabled - Under Maintenance
Prerequisites
- A Meta app with Login for Business configured.
- Instagram Business or Creator account (not personal).
- The Instagram account linked to a Facebook Page.
- Permissions approved for your app environment.
Connect in WeKeKe

Open Integrations
Go to the Integrations page in WeKeKe.

Click “Connect Instagram”
Complete the Meta OAuth consent flow.

Pick the correct account in Meta
Select the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram profile.

Confirm connected state
Return to WeKeKe and verify a green Connected card.
Troubleshooting
- Instagram connect is currently paused in-app while maintenance and Meta verification checks are completed.
- If connect fails, confirm your Instagram account is Business/Creator, not personal.
- Verify the Instagram account is linked to the selected Facebook Page.
- Check redirect URI and allowed domains in your Meta app settings.
- Keep app in development mode until permissions are approved for production.
Account options roadmap
- Current: one connected Instagram account per creator.
- Planned: support additional Instagram account options where Meta policy allows.
- Maintenance status remains in place until external Meta verification unblocks.
