Test every rule in Draft mode before turning on auto‑send. This keeps your automation safe while you validate triggers, outputs, and provider connectivity.
Recommended workflow
- Create the rule in Draft mode.
- Use the “Test Rule” button on the rule card.
- Review the draft or output in the inbox.
- Adjust copy or triggers as needed.
- Switch to auto‑send when results are consistent.
What to verify
- Trigger fires only once for a single event.
- Message content matches your brand voice.
- Provider health state stays connected.
Common pitfalls
- Multiple rules responding to the same event.
- Stale credentials or disconnected providers.
- Auto‑send enabled before review.
